In Romania there is one artist, Ellis Criss, who really makes you feel like Elvis is there, on stage. He is not wearing those white jumpsuits, or capes, he just sings with his band and he does a wonderful job.

If you would like to listen to Ellis Criss, we have on our Fan Club website one of his tribute albums, "For Friends Only" (not for sale, only promo).

Clowdy, so you have to join and be a premium account member to listen to these songs?? Sorry, I do feel like a air-head but I can't figure it out. Dovey

  4. #104
No, nothing about that !!! All you have to do is press Free, then wait about 30 seconds and they will give you in the bottom of the page a link where you can download the song for free !!!
A premium account is necessary only if you want greater speed, or you want more than one song in the same time.
But the free version is more than you need !

Enjoy Ellis Criss and his wonderful tribute !

Thank you so much.. Wow you are right he sounds wonderful and I sure would love to see him. I have never hear of Ellis Criss but he sure can sing like the King. It is hard to believe that someone else has the same beautiful voice.

(Thanks for telling me how to download the songs. Love them and all I can say is "Long live the King" He lives a little in all of us and a lot in others. :o) Dovey

You talk alot about how bad they are, but they still perform and make thousands happy. If some of them believe they're Elvis..well that's another problem...The point is...mabe not many sings ok,but they also keep the fire burning and that's important.See the good part in it!

here is my version of the tear jerker, 'danny boy'. a long time ago, i just wanted to be the best E impersonator there is, and so i studied his voice HARD. so i've sung this the way i've sung it in public. for singing this, i've had an amazing response

    had people moved to tears
invited to sing at an elderly care center
sung on national radio, another good response
was 1 point off winning a talent quest, got told i made E proud, moved people to tears again

so this is what this song has done for me. this is almost a direct copy of E, but thats how i sang a long time ago. i am now happily developing my own style

so i hope u enjoy this

Wow, you can tell from the pictues that the crowd is really into his singing and after listening to his songs, I sure can understand why, he is really great. I love it... and I really think Elvis would like the way he keeps his name alive and yet does it in his own way. Thanks, Long Live the King Dovey

Elvi's friend Johnny Carson said"If life was fare,Elvis would be alive and the impersonators would be dead"I don't think is anything wrong with dressing and trying to sound like Elvis. Is a tribute to a man that we can't let go.But sometimes they take things to far!I have seing inpersonators so ugly that they can scared the hell out of you.Elvis was too beautiful.Noone looks,or sounds like Elvis.Noone ever will.I agreewith the late John Lennon"Before Elvis, there was nothing"Well Elvis is gone and we got nothing.Saddly

Unfortunately, you are right, we don't have Elvis anymore and that's the saddest thing...but we have his music, and why not ..we have shows with impersonators.Good or bad ,we have his music on stage. After all, why be against something? You don't like it ,you don't have to listen, easy as that...But...we have Elvis in our hearts and if even for one moment let's pretend we can have him on stage, in Austria, Holland, UK or Romania. It's a wonderful dream, it's life it's how to move on after 16 August.
