Trip to Memphis

I cannot tell you how many times she told me she felt such peace here. I guess that was why I just had to go here this year. I will let Kim tell you the story about what happened at this spot when she and Rosanne were there. She told me this story this morning as soon as I told her where the guards put Rosanne's tribute. It wasn't until then that I knew exactly why I had gone there. It was all in the big plan. When Kim told me this story I knew without a doubt she really was there last night.

When I was talking to Gail earlier today she told me that she had to give Rosanne's picture that she had made, to the person at the gate in order for it to get to meditation garden. Gail was hoping to bring it up herself so she could place it near Elvis' grave. When Gail finally made it up to the grave site Rosanne's picture was not on Elvis' grave but placed next to the iron fence that surrounds Elvis' pool.....behind Elvis' grave. I could not believe it. When Rosanne and I was at Graceland last month, she took my camera to take some pics. I noticed her taking a picture of an unflattering drawing of Elvis that was placed next to the iron fence behind Elvis' grave. I asked her why she would take a photo of such an awful picture of Elvis. This was her response....She told me it was not the photo of Elvis she was taking the picture of but where it was placed. The grave, she told me always got too much stuff on it and it never gets noticed, this is the perfect spot....on this fence behind Elvis' grave......this is where you should put things if you want it to get noticed!!!
Would you believe without anyone knowing, Rosanne's picture was placed in that same spot. That just proves that she is with us.....and I know without a doubt Rosanne was noticed by the thousands of fans that walked by her picture during their journey last night.

Just when I think I don't have a tear left in me. . .
I see the "I LOVE U...GAIL" written on Rosanne's grave site.

Then....seeing that you took time in your time of sorrow and remembrance of Rosanne and ELVIS after driving hours and hours...to give thought to put my name and others...on the wall.... just totally blew me away. They really broke the mold with you, Gail, and I mean that in the nicest most loving way possible. (((((Gail))))) Seeing my name there was such a lovely gift....I can't thank you enough.

The tribute you made for Rosanne was wonderful and Kim's explanation of how that was a spot that Rosanne actually chose herself...an amazing story.

What a peaceful place....named so very appropriately so many years before. . .

When Kim told me that story it really did something to me. It was like getting several of her big old . It was like a message she left for me through Kim. I couldn't explain why I felt like I needed to be there so badly this year but after that I knew I was looking for from her and I got it.

Thank you so much Gail for sharing these pictures. I always wished that I could make it to a vigil one year but never get to. So thanks again! It's so awesome that Rosanne's tribute was placed in the spot she favored.

Gail, thank you very much for the pictures, they are beautiful, it's been a sad two days and it was nice to see all the flowers and tributes, Roseanne's was amazing, and what a fantastic thing to have her placed at the garden with Elvis, i'm so pleased you went and i have no doubt Roseanne was right there with you. Did you get a programme of the ceremony? If you did please could you put it here for all of us to see, thanks Gail..

Thanks for posting all those beautiful pictures Gail. It's amazing how the guard knew exactly where to place the tribute you made for Roseanne.I guess Roseanne was there to guide him. I am so happy it was displayed there for all to see....
