1953. Among the multitude of signatories in this Humes High yearbook ?The Herald? is senior class member Elvis Presley who has signed ?Best of luck to a swell guy, Elvis?? in blue ink beside his picture. Majoring in Shop, History and English, we find that Elvis Aaron Presley?s activities included ROTC and four clubs: Biology-English-History-Speech. Little did he know that he would one day be profiled in high school history books. Celebrity yearbook collectors regard this one as a Holy Grail caliber item?and that is for one without an Elvis signature. Textured hardbound cover with embossed title. Some of the pages were loose and at one point, were taped back in. Pages also have light overall toning and normal age wear. Only about a dozen of these that were actually signed by Elvis himself have ever surfaced. LOA.
