I voted. It's still at 82 though.
I don't usually put stock in these kinds of voting systems. We've all tried this before and it's failed. So....I'm not holding my breath waiting for it to happen....
Someone mentioned on another site that they had heard from a very reliable source (EPE) that they were releasing it "sometime next year" but - people tend to forget that Turner and no one else owns the rights to the film.
And I haven't seen any big breaking news announcements on EPE's site to confirm this - nor have I seen it on Turner's site (which I would trust more).
I'm afraid that, with the passing of Todd Morgan at EPE, "Elvis On Tour" will most likely never see the light of day - and if by some miracle it does see a release, it won't be the dream release that we've been wanting because all of us (or most of us) already have the outtakes.
If this movie ever sees the light of day, it'll probably be the standard film (with no upgraded sound/picture) and with the original trailer and nothing more.
I'll believe it when it happens.
just voted,up to 82 now
I just voted, it's still at #82...
Let's all vote, it doesn't hurt to try and doesn't take any effort on our part...

I don't think Todd Morgan was ever going to be able to get Turner to release EOT anyway.
If Turner wants to release it they will and if they don't they won't.
The reason they haven't is because to remaster it and put it on DVD they would have to spend money and The special edition of That's the Way it is didn't do very well so Turner doesn't want to spend all the money to have it put on DVD only for it to not sell very well and not make a profit for them.
I think that's kind of a crappy thing for them to do not every DVD that gets released has big sales and a lot of fans want it released That's the Way it is SE premiered on Turner Classic movies before it was released possibly hurting it's sales by doing that.
I do however understand their reason for not releasing it they are in the business to make money not lose money and despite die hard Elvis fans wanting EOT released it probably wouldn't do very good in sales after all how many die hard Elvis fans are there.
I think if they were to release it they need to hurry up they could do interviews with Joe Esposito and the TCB band like they did with TTWII SE and those guy aren't getting any younger.
