Yes...the cover is atrocious for sure, but the remastering job they did on the DVD is quite spectacular....probably the best quality video of this show that I have seen to date!

Anyways, I got this, and imo, its too dark on much of it, I also recieved with it another film titled the Complete CBS Films, which is very light on color, but looks much better.

this is a great release, i have collected so many versions of this concert over the years . The old vhs tapes from the 80s and the best then was the uk fan club video, in all i have 11 differn't versions and this is by far the best!
The new boxset coming out will be far superior to all previously released

A lot of these "remastered" or "improved" sound cd`s or dvd`s make me laugh, it`s usually just a bloke sitting at home messing around with sound and picture controls trying to make a quick buck off naive fans. I know i`ve bought enough of it.
true it seems we were duped again with THE FINAL CURTAIN SET , agreed that the cbs special does look much better than what has bin previously releasd but not blue ray quality as were assured, and the same goes for rapid city, and omaha , a bit of a improvement but not 1st gen tapes.
As I don't own the FC set, this is the dvd I always come back to when I want to watch The CBS Special, still say its the best I've seen, can't compare with the FC because again I don't have it.
