    Favorite version ??

What is your favorite 1972 version of Polk Salad Annie.

Mine is the version on the Madison Square Garden album.
I really like the bass solo on Polk Salad Annie that they did in 1972.

I've heard him sing that song so many times that it's hard to pick one version over the others. I guess I'll go with the majority though and say the MSG version was probably a little better than the others.

My favorie version of the song is the one from feb 1970 version, but from 72 i'd say for me it has to be either the the greensboro concert or the Hampton roads really great versions, also i love the solo from Elvis at full blast great bass solo and really funky guitar solo by J.B
    Play it James!

Love the Hampton Roads from 72, how he waits a minute before going into the "Sock a little polk salad..."
All time though, it's a tie between 8/12/70 MS and the late 74 and on versions, with more orchestra involvement.
