I don't think we should be taking threads off the Fecc forum and posting them here at TCB-World it makes this site seem like a copycat and totally unoriginal
Music & Recordings:
1961 = 775,078
1962 = 775,000
1963 = 546,000
1964 = 506,000
1966 = 644,000
1967 = 817,000
1968 = 532,000
1969 = 794,000
1970 = 1,325,000
1971 = 1,200,000
1972 = 1,100,000
1973 = 4,214,000
1974 = 750,000 [50% of this went to Parker]
The 1973 'buyout' of his back-catalogue by RCA greatly reduced his 1974 figure !
And who'd have thought '67 would exceed '68 - and by such a margin !
Films
1961 = 902,610
1962 = 902,000
1963 = 1,253,000
1964 = 1,508,000
1966 = 2,500,000
1967 = 2,700,000
1968 = 2,600,000
1969 = 1,096,000
1970 = 730,000
1971 = 114,000
1972 = 356,000
1973 = 143,000
Amazing how much he was still earning from the poorly-received films of '66-'67-'68 !
Personal Appearances
1969 = 401,000
1970 = 2,042,000
1971 = 2,700,000
1972 = 4,300,000
1973 = 3,860,000
1974 = 3,116,666
How about '72 then !
Television
1968 = 350,000
1969 = 150,000
All in US Dollars before Tax was cut out.
Thanks to Colin B from FECC!

They took it from a book anyway, it wasn't original to there either, one of my books has that same info.
Interesting figures. Thanks, for posting Brad.

I like it, gives a whole new group of people here at TCB a chance to talk about it.
Looking at those figures its easy to think that wasn't very much but it was for the time. Too bad he didn't have more capable people to manage it for him because he certainly didn't have much left when he died. From what I hear he never took any deductions either so he had to have paid out a ton in taxes.

thanks for the info, credit was given, it's not really much differant than posting scans of reviews or articles from books or mags.
I never looked for trouble but I never ran.
FECC post pics on there, from over here

Interesting Brad, thank you.
And come on, give us a break already, all Elvis sites share the same material or news more or less. No big deal.
And personal believes Brian, have little to do with a subject like this. Lighten up my friend, it's Elvis business amongst Elvis fans.
