That a great thing- to rediscover a song you have not heard in a while and realize how great it is.

Absolutely right Ken!!! There are just so many outtakes of Elvis' songs now, every now and then, I come across one that I haven't heard in a while and just think....WOW and that's just an outtake!!!

If your anything like me there will be periods of time when you don't listen to Elvis this is not always a bad thing because too much of a good thing can take the edge off something special.

There are certainly days where I listen to Elvis much more than others, although I have very few days where I don't listen to at least a couple of Elvis songs...

...but I know just what you mean J.J.!!!

It reminded me of a conversation with Bobby & Mike quite recently, Elvis had such a great voice and when you hear it, even when you have had a bummer of a day it can just lift your spirit.

Well I'm certainly glad our conversation kept you from driving into that brick wall...that would have hurt!!!

I enjoy listening to all types of music, alot depending on my mood. My favorites are from 50- 80 's....they take me back...wonderful how music can do that. As soon as you her that certain tune, you're right back to that moment, event, all those years ago.
But of course, Elvis is always No 1 !!! He is alway there.....good times, bad times. It's more than just the music with Elvis !

Surrender is an awesome record that demonstrates how flexible Elvis is vocally. The only problem with Surrender is that it is such a short song 1 Minute 7 Seconds if memory serves. Perhaps one of our re-mixer members can convert this to a 3 minute version
