Can you imagine what an Elvis ticket would go for these days? I've paid $200-$300 for tickets to concerts (for my wife) for bands that couldn't open for Elvis on their best day.
TICKET STUBS:Attachment 32006 This was before i was an Elvis fan. Too bad i missed this concert!
And only $10 a ticket too! Times have changed!

Besides not being an Elvis fan back then,David. What was the real reason you didn't go? One would say, what! were you crazy for missing an Elvis Presley concert.Of course,I'm shaking my head at that one.
The One and Only King of Rock'n'Roll.
Are you kidding? Elvis was charging $10 for the Houston Livestock show & tom Jones tickets were $25 at t he Colisuem in Corpus Christi! Elvis knew how to treat his fans!
Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

I believe if there was an afternoon show on this date, it's the one my friend went to.
She said it was during the day they saw him.
