Elvis Presley's hair grease?

Do you guys know which hair grease or pomade elvis used in his hair back in the 50's? I heard he used Bryl Creem but im not sure....

This is in Peter Guralnick's book: 'The Last Train to Memphis':

"...Watching him comb his hair in the morning using three different hair oils, butch wax for the front like you'd use for a crew cut, one kind of hair oil for the top, another for the back.
