    Elvis Presley's hair grease?

    Do you guys know which hair grease or pomade elvis used in his hair back in the 50's? I heard he used Bryl Creem but im not sure....
    If your an elvis fan, no excuse is needed... If your not an elvis fan, no excuse is possible...

    I thought he used something called black & whites

    This is in Peter Guralnick's book: 'The Last Train to Memphis':

    "...Watching him comb his hair in the morning using three different hair oils, butch wax for the front like you'd use for a crew cut, one kind of hair oil for the top, another for the back. I asked him why he used that butch wax, and he said that was so when he performed his hair would fall down a certain way. He thought that was cool." - Jimmie Rodgers Snow

    I've also heard of Rose Oil, Royal Crown Pomade and Brylcreem...
