Myrna Smith is one of the original Sweet Inspirations, the backing group who sang with Elvis in concert from 1969 until the very end. She has also worked with stars from Aretha Franklin to Van Morrison and has provided the world with some of the best soulful harmonies that have ever been recorded. It was actually Myrna who introduced a young Lisa Marie to her future husband Michael Jackson. In 2003 EIN's Piers Beagley interviewed Myrna Smith when she was in Australia along with the TCB Band. She talked in depth about her time with Elvis, Colonel Parker, her relationship with Lisa Marie and lots more.

but i dont buy that part where she claims..she didint notice elvis wasint in great shape in 76-77..she only realized this when she saw the cbs special on tv. i mean come on elvis stepped on stage every performance in front of them

Do you think it may be possible that when you see someone every day, you don't see a 'sudden' decline??
Just throwing a thought into the equation

My Dad watched this a few months ago for the frist time, and I think because of the hype about how bad he looked by the media etc.. he was expecting him to look worse. His comment was...' he didn't look that bad'

i would agree with ur dad..elvis didint look that bad at all in 77..skinny legs.. still very handsome.. always handsome..in the special he was bloated.. and the makeup job on him was lousy..and cameras made him look much worse they were incompetant camera men....as u know after the special like in indianapolis june 26th elvis looked very goodwasint bloatedanyways..a little off topic but they should of filmed the indianapolis concert .and made that the special for 77....peace

Myrna and the TCB Band were here in Australia in 1999 and 2006, not 2003.

I got to meet Myrna and most of the band in 2006 when they came out here.

Hopefully, the Concert will return.

No it wasn't - but she was here with the TCB Band playing with Australia's Mick Gerace. We never said she was here that time with EIC.

She was great fun to be with.

My typo error was because her photos were loaded in my camera with some other "2003" dated photos and I had to search right back to find them.
