Great picks, definitively the first photo is a killer. Could have been a much better cover for the Aloha L.P. I've never totally get why they were not able to use a picture from the Aloha show if the album was released until april. Anybody knows? I´m I totally lost?
Second one, anyhow, was used here in Mexico as the 1987 cover for the L.P/Cassette/CD called: Elvis Baladas. (One of the last 3 albums released that year that were available on those three formats over here, off topic just memories from somebody that grew up in the 80's

).
I remember back then as a 7 year old kid, I was very impressed as I though Elvis was crying on that photograph, so looking at that pic while lisening to some of the big ballads on that L.P. like "It´s Imposible" or the tender ones like "Are You Lonesome Tonight?", used to gave me the chills. As a kid I was totally much more into the rock and roll stuff, but it was that pic man, or what I thought they were tears, what made me hear that L.P. for hours.
I still, while looking at his performance of "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" on the rehearsal concert, which is where Im sure this picture was taken, I still think is not only sweat what is running to his cheeks at one certain moment.
