Man Dies Trying to Catch Suicide Jumping Girlfriend...A Chinese man was killed after trying to catch his suicidal girlfriend as she jumped from the seventh floor of their Quanzhou apartment building in south-eastern China. Witnesses said the young man, identified only as Wang, tried to break the woman’s fall by holding out his arms. He was killed by the impact of her body landing on top of him.

His girlfriend survived the fall and suffered a few bone fractures. She is expected to make a full recovery.

The couple apparently got into a big argument, so his girlfriend went out on the ledge to commit suicide. Wang ran to the street below to try and persuade his girlfriend not to jump.

That's very sad, that things panned out that way.

He loved her very much. Pity she didn't know.

I've been a member since Dec. of 2007 and it's one of my favorite places to visit cuz it deals with celeb deaths. I'm there alot more actually than I am on any other board (even the Elvis boards I frequent). The members there are called Death Hags cuz of their interest in celebrity deaths and the circumstances of their passings.
