    Andy Kaufman as Elvis

    I saw "Man on the moon" (by Jim Carrey..which is about the man called Andy Kaufman...worth to watch!!) movie some days ago..and since then I spent a lot of time on youtube.
    He impersonated Elvis in the 70s and the early 80s..He was a really big Elvis fan. It was written that even Elvis liked him.
    I just read on Wikipedia "When Kaufman visited Graceland after Presley's death, it was discovered that in the singer's home were several VHS tapes of Kaufman."

    here are some great videos I found about his impersonation:

    His first TV appearance in 1972

    He was very funny guy too..often very misunderstood.
    Unfortunately he was gone too soon. He died in 1984 (aged 35).

    I liked Andy-but have to say I never thought his Elvis impersonation was that good-but it was surprising in the context he did it and that made it good for another reason.
    Work in Progress!

    I am happy to see other people here too who likes him

    It is the 25th anniversary of his death today on May 16, 2009
    and I wanted to do a tribute video.
    Take a look:
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1E8EVWpiqE"]YouTube - Andy Kaufman Tribute (05/16/09)[/ame]

    There is an Elvis song in the end because Andy was a huge fan and that was one of his fave gospel songs.

    I started to read a book about Andy and got more interested in about the book because there are lots of mentions about Elvis too. He was very big part of Andy's life.
