    $1m Elvis guitar...

$1m Elvis guitar fails to sell at auction: The black stage guitar used by Elvis in the seventies, is still property of the owner. The guitar was offered for sale on eBay with a 'reserve' of 1 million dollar. Nobody placed a bid, leaving the guitar where it has been the last 35 years: in the house of the lucky fan who caught it & kept it behind lock and bar. This was the second time that the instrument was put on eBay. Last year, nobody bid over 85,000 $US. (News, Source: Elvis Matters)

There's no 'IF'S" about it. The guitar was actually used by Elvis in Asheville, NC during his shows there in July of 1975. The guitar has also been touted as being the same one he used in EOT and AFH but whether this is the SAME guitar he used during EOT and AFH is debateable....

Nevertheless, Elvis did hand this person the guitar himself and he has kept it ever since.

If I had $1,000,000.00, I'd sure buy it!!

What I meant was, no guitar is worth a million, not even an Elvis guitar.

Overrated! there is not even a proof that it is the guitar used on the historic Aloha show.

I'm 100% behind you on this, even if I was a multi millionaire I wouldn't pay that sort of cash. Sorry, If I had that kind of money I would rather give it to charity than be that ostentatious

Agreed...the price is ridiculous even though it was Elvis'. I'd personally rather have one of his pianos but I still would'nt pay that much for it.

I agree with you both. There have only been speculations that this is the same guitar that was used in EOT and Aloha From Hawaii.

Million is kinda too much... I would give a million for one of his caddies...
