    Things I Learned From Elvis

    Sing a song, daily

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

    Be true to yourself

    Believe in God

Be kind and thoughtful to others

    Place yourself in other's shoes

Stick up for yourself when needed

    Be quiet when needed

    Love unconditionally

    Love conquers all

    Forgive

    Help others

It's best to give of your time

We are all human; however, look
    for improvement in oneself

Always listen to others and don't criticize what you don't understand because, you've never walked a mile in that persons shoes.

When we ask about things that make us have suspicious minds we get in trouble.....

Your statement is so very touching.

Elvis has taught me so much over the years.....No matter how big you get or who you become, never forget where you came from!

    Elvis taught me:-

    1. That we're all human no matter our status in life
    2. That its good to laugh but to cry when you need to
    3. Don't expect perfection from yourself or others cos we're only human, just be the best you can be
    4. That a smile can brighten someone's day
    5. Never take anything for granted
    6. When you find true love in your life, hang onto it with all your might
    7. Life's to short to be serious all the time, so act like a kid when you get away with it GMHO
    8. Listen to your loved ones and friends when they tell you that they love you / give you a helping hand and ignore the opinions of others who don't know you and only want to put you down
    9. Help others when you can in a caring and giving way
    10. No-one knows everything, learning is an ongoing process that lasts your whole lifetime

You ask how long I love you, I'll tell you true,
until the Twelfth of Never, I'll still be loving you
