    I have been trying to find this book for a long time, thank goodness I finally did!

    TonyTrout has this book as well. I found it on Ebay and went into an all-out bidding war in the last 60 seconds to win it!

    It's 226 pages with a few pics, not many. It's been out of print for years and years. I can't believe I paid as much as I did for it, BUT there are 2 of them listed on Amazon right now for $396.00...I did NOT pay that much for it at least!

    The seller told me that she was friends with a guy who worked for the publishing company and she was able to get several of them while they were still available. She's made herself a tidy little profit, that's for sure!

    I saw a review on EIN, and they said it was 'very' rare!!!! Looked on Amazon, your right it was a fortune!!!!!

    I'm so glad you found a copy of 'The King Is Dead'!!! The book is a good read but the problem I find with it is that it has several errors in the book - and I do mean several.

    The book is a short read and it can kinda get a bit graphic in regards to how they prepared Elvis for burial but the Memphis Funeral Home truly did take great care in preparing Elvis for his burial.
