elvis looks really good in the new movin' mobile cd booklet

hi guys, just got my copy of the new import 'movin' mobile. good show not bad sound. but the thing that impressed me the most were the photos in the booklet. elvis looks tanned and healthy. yes he has a little extra weight but his face looks very good . for any of you that have it, look at the first pictue when you open the book. it's a shot of e.p adjusting the mic. with the way his hair is combed up and the look on his face it is very close to how he looked at the medley portion of the stand up shows from 68, right before he broke into heartbreak hotel. thats just my opinion, what do you guys think . have a great weekend.... simmerrocks

Yeah, you're right...... Elvis looked (and sounded) fantastic during the May-June-July tours. He really sounds happy.

It's amazing to see the differences between these tours and the December Las Vegas season. He gained much weight, had his hair combed forward and sounded way less happy than the spring/summer tours.

By the way, have you heard 'Fly T.R.O.U.B.L.E.' already? Although Elvis was in a very funny mood during the whole May-June-July period, this show must have been the funniest ever.

It can't be compared to all other funny shows, because Elvis was focused and silly at the same time. That building must have been filled with flies, 'coz Elvis mentions it every few minutes.... It's absolute hilarious

hi albert, yes i have fly trouble, and i agree with you 1000 percent, the show is very funny without being embarassing to listen to, unlike some of the 74 vegas shows . elvis is in a great silly mood, and sometimes when listening to him joke he was as quick as a standup comic . he really did have a natural sense of humor. i just wish we could see some of these shows as well as hear them. have a great night... simmerrocks

i would recommned fly trouble out of the two. the show is very good and as stated in the earlier posts, elvis is in a good mood and very funny . but on the other hand..... movin' mobile is a very upbeat show and the bonustrack let me be there' from cincinatti 76, is nice to hear especially because it is in stereo. it would be nice if that show would be the next madison release. ah heck.... if you can get em' both . rock on.... simmerrocks

    GREAT CALL SIMMERROCKS!!

I received my copy of MOVIN' MOBILE last week, and although I haven't had time to listen to it yet, I did flip through the booklet and you are right on target...Elvis looks FANTASTIC in those pictures....very happy and healthy looking, although as you said, a little extra weight but he carries it well!

And Albert, you are spot on about the May-July '75 tours....I honestly can't think of one show during these 3 months where Elvis doesn't sound GREAT! He was VERY upbeat and energetic throughout the shows during these 3 months, and again as you said, it's amazing to see what a difference a month makes between the end of the July '75 tour and the beginning of Elvis' Vegas engagement in August '75.

    THANKS A MILLION JEFF!!!

Will try and give it a listen, so I can post a review of it soon!! THANKS SO MUCH for the kind words for my reviews...I am certainly glad you enjoy them!! I figured since I am "graphically challenged" when it comes to trying to create alternate cover art, the least I could do to contribute something to the messageboard was to write reviews!!

    THANKS AGAIN BUDDY!!
