I wonder if ....eventually.... it will tour with no members of Elvis's touring band or singing groups? As long as people want to see Elvis it will probably continue-but how long with the original group?

Presumably for as long as the key members want to.

Having said that, if ever James decides to leave or when he passes on, that will be the end of the TCB Band for me.

All of the other members (that still tour) were replaced here and there over the years while Elvis was alive, but James' sound was the constant. Even with another guitar used for the recent tours, he was and is still the backbone of the group.

TCB without James is like the Stones without Keith Richards; The Doors without Jim Morrison ... or High School Musical without Zac Efron!

If it did tour without any of the original members, it ain't the TCB Band. I wouldn't like to see this happen. Perhaps in 50 or 100 years it would work, but not when anyone who remembers Elvis is still alive.

Bingo, Getlo. The TCB Band without James Burton is like Lynyrd Skynyrd without Ronnie Van Zant - it ain't the same.
