nop.... i never been there, remember i am indonesian,...since right now til the next 10 years i'll be in United States, i wouldn't skip the opportunities to visit elvis home ....

Do you enjoy living in the States? We'v been there many times for holidays, and is a great country, but how is it when you actually live there? I always say once in a while I need an America 'shot' (if we can afford it of course) but I always wonder if I could really live there. So I'm curious how you experience it.

Hi Dessy, thanks for sharing your experience. I can imagine it's a big difference from Indonesia to the US. What I like about the US is the space, the beautiful nature, the big variety in it, some great citys, favo New York. After a visit from the States I always hate to drive here in Holland, to crowded to many angry people.

I am trying to convince my wife to go again to Memphis in 2007 for Elvisweek! She did like it very much this year, but she doesn't really want to look that far ahead (God only knows what we will be doing then!)

I have wanted to go to graceland since being very young but just never had the money to doso if do not go before 2007 that will be one I will not miss.I will be 40 that year
and I think I have waited long enough
so I will start saving now and hopefully we shall all meet there

I was watching CNN footage of Elvisweek 2002, the 25th anniversary, and it was said that the candle light vigil took 11 hours to complete, and people were lining up 24 hours before the event ... I hope you will bring comfortable shoes, and maybe a chair Annie

Ok well this thread was started in 2004. A lot has happened in my life since then. But I have booked my Elvis week 2007 trip. First we go for a couple of days to Las Vegas and then to Memphis!! I'm so looking forward to it. I hope you all are still going

I'm really glad you are going this year, you'll absolutely love it. I never thought I'd ever go to Graceland, this was something other people did, not me. But last year I just had enough and said I was going. So I booked my place with Arena Travel and off I went, and I had the best time of my life. To this day I'll still talking about it. It was always my dream to see Graceland and it was everything I thought it would be, and more.

I stayed at the Heartbreak Hotel as well, which added to all the excitment. I'm going this August as well but I couldn't get the Heartbreak but I'm sure it will be just as brilliant anyway.

We will be in LA, Vegas and Nashville before heading down to Tupelo for a day then back to Memphis......so we might be in Vegas at the same time.
Annie and I caught up in 2004...we didn't spend as much time together as we should have, time and our schedules didn't allow it, but this time hopefuly we will have a meal together.....Where are you staying this time? Our hotel is downtown this time....I just forget the name of it now....

O yes we will really need to go to have a meal together, that should be fun. I'm in Las Vegas from 6th of August till the 10th of August. We stay at the Aladdin. You? That would also be great fun meeting in Las Vegas
