Johnny was GEN-U-INE, the real deal, so unique...Like Elvis, he was influenced by all types of music and could not be defined by any one. He was such an interesting guy. I think he remained fairly grounded and always seemed to care about the little people and did not forget where he came from.
Not to understate the magic of his music! But I'll leave it at that.
