Hmmmm, I never saw them before.
Here are two photos I scanned out of an Elvis tribute magazine from 1978. Elvis looks so sad and tired in the first picture. The photographer was Jim Morris. Does anyone know where I can get any Jim Morris prints? Thanks
Hmmmm, I never saw them before.
Welcome to the board, Mike!
Those pics look fine to me. Though many pics like these circulate, these two seem somewhat more unknown.
If you have any more pics, could you please post them in the picture section? That's a fine place to discuss them.

Personally, I haven't seen these 2 photos before....perhaps some of our other photo experts will chime in to let us know how rare these photos are!!But, like Sonny, I've seen similiar photos to these, but not these photos specifically!
THANKS FOR POSTING THE PHOTOS AND HOPE TO SEE YOU AROUND THE BOARD!!

Mike -
I remember seeing these pics. in an all-Elvis magazine ........ published shortly after EP's passing (there were lots of them published at that time). I also remember the magazine having lots of ............. how shall I say it .......... rather unflattering pics. of circa 1976 EP.
I agree, though, ........................... as un-well as EP looks in some, ............ they are rarities now. Lots of unseen concert pics. from the late 70's out there in private fans hands, ........... LOTS (just like these).

I know what you mean Captain! I have lots of those tribute magazines in my collection from around the time of Elvis' death (1977, 1978, 1979) and you are 100% right....I SWEAR each magazine was trying to outdo the other in terms of which magazine could print the most unflattering photo of Elvis! Of course, in terms of UNFLATTERING, I guess the winner of that "award" would have to go to, HANDS DOWN (in my opinion anyway) the National Enquirer and their photo of Elvis in his casket!!! Talk about morbid! (Although I am sure it sold a LOT of papers!). I actually still have a complete copy of that Enquirer in my collection today!![]()

i'm almost sure jim run a fan club by the name of kings court which closed down many years ago, but i do know he had many pictures similar to these and were all published in the tribute magazines of the late 70s and early 80s
if it was'nt jim running kings court, he was involved in it somehow, i also know he had photo packs available for sale at one stage. if i can dig through all my old magazines i'll let you know , i know it's in one of them somewhere.
That would be COOL hounddogone2000....THANKS!!!![]()
