Okay I know alot of people here don't care too much for Priscilla, and please no one hate me for this. It's just something I'm curious about. And I know that there is no way to find out. But again just curious. I also know that Priscilla is only known cause of Elvis. But I was just wondering how Elvis would have felt and/or reacted had it been Priscilla who had died on August 16, 1977 instead of him.

This one may not last long, but.....I'm sure that Elvis would have been crushed. She was after all, the mother of his only child. I can't imagine anyone thinking otherwise.

I think he would have been completely devestated, no matter that they were divorced. He still depended her, to some degree, and loved her (his words), and referred to her as his wife (again, his words).

That is a good question, he'd probably be concerned for Lisa Marie first, then grieve over Priscilla, and probably enter a decline like you see in February 1973, only magnified, where he goes from Aloha to College Park, MD in just a few days.
I think like most of us (not all) even if things do not turn out the way you expected in a relationship you still have feelings for that person. So I think he would have been saddened, and worried for Lisa-realizing that raising Lisa was all his responsibilty in that situation.

I too think that he would have been crushed. Even after the divorce there was alot of care and love between the two. And she was the mother of his child. Thank you for all your input.
