I AM SO HAPPY I HAVE THEM ALL IN MY COLLECTION. I WISH THEY WOULD RELEASE A FEW MORE EACH YEAR!! THEY PUT A LOT OF EFFORT IN TO THESE RELEASES THE ARTWORK IS ALWAYS STUNNING!!

    Re: FTD

My favorite outtake-albums: The Jungle Room Sessions & So High
Soundtracks: Out In Hollywood & Viva Las Vegas (although some masters are missing)
Live: Dixieland Rocks & It's Midnight
    Classical albums-series:Elvis Presley & Today

Actually most of them are great, but with some releases (e.g. Frankie Johnny, Something For Everybody) the material had been released in good sound quality on bootlegs before, so the official releases materialwise couldn't offer some real highlights unfortunately.
In terms of quality there could be a general improvement, since cds are often not really centered, with the digipacks the glue sometimes doesn't properly stick etc.
And for those who are responsible for the artwork: Compare your orange (RCA) cd labels with the colour of the original which is shown right behind - you will be surprised, I guess!!

Nice week to all of You,

    Thomas

    Re: FTD

Not so easy to answer that question because all of them are great. But my favorites are The Jungle Room Sessions, The Memphis Sessions and The Nashville Marathon. From the classic albums I like Elvis Country and Elvis Is Back the most.

Memphis Sessions. Great to hear his voice, minus the extra 'orchestration'

    Re: FTD

I have all of them and it's so hard to choose just one but off the top of my head I'll go for 'The Jungle Room Sessions'

    Re: FTD

I have all of them in my collection, but my favorite changes constantly. Recently I am listening to "That's The Way It Is" quite a lot, "Big Boss Man" is my favorite live-disc and "So High" my favorite one with studio outtakes.

But, as I wrote before: It changes a lot.
