Yeah I noticed it. So what who cares?
In the movie Tickle Me the picture on the wall of Vera Radford's office is naked ladies. Or am I the only one who saw it. I'll admitt it took me long time before I noticed it.

well, you have to admit it's racey set deck
but also adds an interesting subtext for it to be in a female character's office....
yeah i noticed it, and i don't think it adds any subtext after all most nudes are of females. It's just art.
I never looked for trouble but I never ran.
I didn[t say it did. I just thought it was somewhat interesting that's all.
cbg84 i was answering monk37 about there subtext theory. And i do think it was intersting that the set designer decide to add nudes to the scene maybe it was because of the theme of the picture

May help if next time I read the whole thread.
i will have to go watch the movie again now, i quite like Tickle and i haven't watched it for a while as i only have it on VHS.

naked ladies in a 1964 Elvis movie - yeah that is unusual!
the subtext is about the Vera character
women don't usually have nudes of women.
perhaps she was being coded as a lesbian character?
it's been too long since I've seen the movie.
i did understand what you meant monk37 but wasn't the Vera character also one of the ladies in the film after Elvis?
I have friends who paint and they say the female form is the preferred form due to the lines of the female shape. It's just more interesting to paint, they say
I never looked for trouble but I never ran.
