    What year was your absolute favorite year? Which year do you think he was at his best?

    Probably 1969 in my opinion!!

    Elvis was riding the wave of excitement of his triumphant 1968 Comeback Special and had a renewed passion, both in the studio and on stage. The American Sound Sessions in January and February '69 gave Elvis some of his most dramatic, freshest and most contemporary sounding material of his entire career!!! And what can you say about Elvis' incredible return to live performing in Las Vegas in July and August of 1969...EXHILIRATING, FANTASTIC, TREMENDOUS, OUTSTANDING...there are not enough words that can describe the passion and energy that Elvis brought to that stage at the International Hotel during the summer of '69!!!

    IN 1969 -- ELVIS WAS BACK!!!

    I cannot pick one year, but to me 68-73 is when Elvis was at his best.

    1969 - memphis sessions & vegas return
    1970 - TTWII
    1971- 1973 - A series of great concerts & Aloha.

    BUT I LOVE EVRYTHING ABOUT ELVIS SO IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CHOOSE JUST ONE ERA!!

    I can't pick a year because it always changes, at least for me. Right now it's 1969, a few weeks ago it was 1960, before that 1970.
