    It was BIG news when Elvis came to town!!

    Elvis was so enormously popular in 1971 that when it was announced that he was coming to Dallas the newspaper did an article on the excitement of the upcoming show.

    I remember when I read that Elvis was coming to the Oakland Coliseum. I was so excited because I knew I would finally get to see him in person.
