Elvis performs at the Las Vegas Hilton. During the middle of the dinner show,Elvis left the stage while the Stamps filled in. He returned after twenty minutes as Cant Help Faiilin In Love was started, and he started the show again from the middle.

Elvis mets with a hypnotist by the name William Foote in Memphis. He was trying to teach Elvis to relax through mind control.

Elvis holds his 1st press conference at his hotel regardinf his upcoming shows. Asked if his sonfg lineup will be the same as that of his previous Vegas shows, he responds by saying, " You will have to wait and see the show, I'll give them a hell of a performance"

Elvis holds another press conference in the afternoon. At 2:00 and 7:45 pm in conjunction with the Livestock Show, Elvis performs on a stage set up in the middle of the Astrodome.
