Personally i like being able to articles that have been posted. As an Aussie fan and also i was only 6 when Elvis died i didn't see any of these.
Thank you for sharing form your collection.
I never looked for trouble but I never ran.
Rosanne, thanks for sharing your collection with us!
Unfortunately we couldn't control the spin that was put into those newspaper articles....obviously "pneumonia" sounds MUCH better than "almost overdosing".
But the fans that don't wish to talk about those aspects of Elvis' life should just move on from those topics and choose other topics that are more appealing to them.
We will miss you dearest friend
I somehow agree with CRITTERGITTER, you said it very well, we all have personal problems and dark secrets... And nobody would be glad if the whole world would know it. And you're right, buying the tickets, albums, DVDs don't entitle us to his life and his soul. But I think Elvis was the one who put his soul, his heart and his life into the songs. There are many songs what really make me feel that he sang about himself. But Rosanne just shared an article, that's all. And I'm very glad she shares her wonderful memories here, because I can know more about the time when I wasn't even born. Keep them coming Rosanne!!

It all depends on perspective. Some might thing OMGosh an overdose!!!! As serious as it is, people with drug problems live on the edge of that daily. Having a drug problem does not make him a horrible person. So I say so what. It happens. Sad but true.
And I don't blame anyone for protecting him. Last thing he needed was the media hounding him. The media can be like Vultures and rip people to shreds with any little morsel they can get their hands on.
I personally feel that celebrities owe the public nothing when it comes to the truth.
It's a joke.........
