Hi Kim,Thank you. Been collecting since i was 16 years old, (54 now!) but my "first" collection was sold after 18 years because my marrage split and had to sell everything and start again
Never showed Graceland my collection just my Elvis paintings.

I DECIDED TO POST ANOTHER OF MY MOST PRIZED POSSESSIONS...

After searching for over 25 years of Elvis collecting, I was lucky enough a couple of years ago to come across an ORIGINAL MONO copy of the SPEEDWAY soundtrack!!! At the time SPEEDWAY came out, RCA was phasing out the mono LP format and as it turned out, SPEEDWAY and ELVIS' GOLD RECORDS VOL. 4 were the last 2 RCA albums to be released in mono, and both were very limited in production. Although I don't know what the value of the album is today, back around 2000-2001, mono copies of SPEEDWAY were fetching between $1,500 - $2,000!!! And I am lucky enough to have one in my collection!!!!
