I showed you guys this card yesterday..it was at each plate on the 08/04/1972 opening. It had a tour photo album and a stuffed hound dog. Well...here is a pic of 2 of the stuffed hound dogs, they are sitting on the floor with the "real" animals! Those long ribbons on their ears say "ELVIS."
BTW....on opening night of the next August(1973) they didn't give away any freebies. Maybe the Col. didn't go for it!
I love your room. I bet those dogs are worth something now! I can see that you still loved your pets!
True story......the ONLY time I can remember my mother getting mad at me was when I was 4 years old. Our outdoor kitty caught a bird and brought him home for us to see. I cried and cried and cried over the bird! Mother said that if I didn't "hush about that bird" that I was going to get in big trouble!
Thanks, for sharing your pics Rosanne. Those hounddogs look cute!
very cute!! i love it!! keep them coming!!
I think this was a very sweet gesture... And I have to tell again, the card is very beautiful!!! If Elvis had intervention in choosing these things, he had absolutely wonderful taste.
Awwwwwww incredibly thoughtful details.
i love this song. it is so sad. the way elvis sings it
Those "hound dogs" look cute, but yet, comically sad.
VERY COOL ROSANNE!!!
Those are certainly quite collectible now I would imagine...HANG ON TO THOSE PUPPIES!!!
We will miss you dearest friend
