Here is a copy of Look Magazine which was a very popular magazine in the 50's, 60's and 70's. This one is dated May 4, 1971. Notice the price....35 cents!!!!
The other newspaper is one of the original papers from Memphis that hit the newsstands on August 17, 1977. I always thought their headline was interesting, and VERY sad.

I noticed that the Look mag said ,"The Hidden life of Elvis". What did they consider his hidden life in 1971? I would love to read that. That is so true Rosanne. My kids have grown up with it! All my family members think of me everytime they see anything on Elvis. If he is on TV the phone starts ringing! If I met old classmates they will always say, "So do you still love Elvis ? Whenever I see him I always think of you."My hubs and kids have never known me any other way.
