Teenagers loving Elvis

Gail and I have mentioned before how we both had a jillion Elvis pen-pals when we were teenagers, that's how we met also. This is just a small sampling of the stickers and junk that we would decorate the envelopes with. The mailman always seemed to think it was amusing.

I have often wondered that too Kim, just like I wondered every day for 30 years what happened to Gail Davis from Houston, Texas. There were only about 500,000 Davis' in that area!
So...if there is a Cheryl McCormick from Rochester, New York I'd love to hear from you!

I also had one big sticker that I put on the envelope that said......"postman postman don't be slow ~ be like Elvis, Go man Go."

I kept all of my letters until 1986 when I had to clean out my room because my grandparents were selling their home. It makes me sick when I think about all the stuff that I threw out during that time. Absolutely sick!!!!!

If anyone knows of Preston Roe from Florida - I'd love to hear from him. Also Patricia Cervone from New York. At 15 she was my idol - she was in her 20's and went to Vegas for weeks at a time and had front row seats at MSG - sent me pix of that night!! She was one lucky person back in the day!!!!!!
