I was not crazy about "I'm Leavin" when it came out. But over time I have changed that opinion. I like that it is somewhat different for Elvis at the time-has a mystical feel to it.

I didn't like American Trilogy at first. Now it's a favorite.
The impossible dream is one I don't like much but I am starting to warm up to it,
also "Don't" when I heard it as a kid I didn't like it at all, now I've come to appreciate

The song "life" it took me a while to warm to it. But after i heard it a few times and listened to the words i got to like it. It is a long song with tricky verses. Even elvis remarked in an studio outtake how long it is!!

Don't Be Cruel. It's not that I didn't like it, I was just immune to it. It's constantly played on the oldies station, as if that's the only Elvis song within reach to give airtime to.
It really came to light for me when I read the lyrics.

When I first heard Steamroller Blues, I hated it, but as the years went on, I really started liking it a lot. In fact, if I could have Elvis sing any song to me, I'd pick Steamroller Blues (believe it or not!).
The truth i like all,his voice is electrizante in each of his songs.
Another song is Don't. I just didn't care for this as he sang it when first released. Then, I'm watching him perform the same song in rehearsal - TTWII, and love this interpretation of that song. My new favorite.
