Yes, it was. I agree wholeheartedly.

As for Obama, the last place I want to see him is Graceland, at least for now. He has the economy to deal with first and foremost, not to mention the quagmires that are Iraq and Afghanistan.

Getlo, maybe you should consider removing those thumbnails you have.

Why on earth would I want to do that?

And, in case you missed it, America needs rebuilding.

But I doubt he could do that without Lisa and Robert FX Silerman's permission and I doubt they would allow him to. I don't think he has that much power to shut down a privately owned tourist attraction permanently that is a financial profit for an inner city for personal use. Besides I doubt he would even consider doing that. He seems to have way too much class and character to try something like that.

"I'd rather keep my political views to myself"! But, the above statement cracked me up - it's amazing what people come up with to put in print!

That article was written by a guy who runs a website called "Planning your trip to Graceland"- in the last line of the article he admits that
"it is pure speculation" since no one from Obama, Lisa, or EPE has made any comment regarding this at all. No source for the speculation is given.

Yeah, it was rough paying 79 cent to $1.09 for gas, jobs were plentiful and few people were losing their homes.

Excuse me, but when your country and your government and your president drags my country and my fellow citizens into war, I - like every other Australian, or Englishmen etc - have the right to speak out.

When your country illegally detains my fellow citizens in Guantanamo Bay without charge in breach of the Geneva Convention (Google David Hicks), I have the right to speak out.

When my fellow citizens are killed and wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan in two wars declared by your country, I have the right to speak out.

When the economic crisis which began in your country caused by mismanagement from your bankers which then directly affects my retirement funding, I have the right to speak out.

Your attitude is typical of the Right Wingers: you think that just because this is happening in America, only Americans have the right to comment. WRONG. What the US does affects the entire world, especially those countries who are allied with her, like Australia.

Open your eyes, and realise that the world does not begin and end with LA and New York.

You are correct. Thank you Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.

Clearly you missed my point to Unique Dog: because we are all hurting in so many ways, that gives me the right to speak out on American actions which directly affect me.
