    Classical Music - Favourites?

We have been swapping some great music, I thought I'd start a thread for favourite Classical Music.

A lot of us agree on "Moonlight Sonata", here is another favourite of mine:

One of my aunts had a wonderful collection of old classical '78s and I remember playing one of Chopin's Polonaises quite often but I can't remember which one now of his that was so special then to me. I'd had to hear it again.

I hope these qualify. Not often you see Russell Crowe do an Elvis with a fiddle.

I love Schubert and Franz Liszt. The first one for his passion and Franz for his great magnificent piano songs.

"Fer Elise" is one of my favorites, so much so, that my 8 year old daughter taught hereself to play it on the piano before her teacher could.

Me too, e. I used to be in Heaven, I'd ride my Aunt's horses on her property, then come inside the house, and she'd be playing the piano, and guess what she played all the time? lol

Gosh I used to love it! Thank you for jogging a beautiful memory for me!

I can't tell you one special piece of classical music.
When I listen too then I prefer Verdi (Aida, Nabucco), Mozart and Beethoven.
