Easier said than done. I am almost 2 hours away from decent shopping, and I am a shopaholic, so I shop online.

Thanks for everyone's support I really appreciate it and my only desire is for no one to be taken advantage of and to enjoy Elvis artwork for free. I have no problem with anyone using my work for personal use or creating something of their own with it. My problem is when someone either tries to sell something I want people to enjoy for free or claims my work as something they created...especially since I put allot of effort into each one.

Here is the first email I sent to chogenki which I sent Thu, 1/1/09 which proves he knew exactly what picture was in question but he chose to ignore the email I sent to him.

The other seller did not sell the other picture which he listed at 49dollars. I did email him also and he was as usual super defensive. They both know what they did and are only trying to save face now that they are caught.

Again, I really really appreciate all the comments on this matter and will continue to put up artwork for my fellow Elvis fans and just want ebay shopper to be aware. Thanks,

I completely 100% agree that it feels bad when some-one is using the work you have done to profit themselves. I also understand that once an Image is on the Internet that basically you give up any rights to your own work

However the people that count know and respect your work

I love looking at all the great pics that you and others post here.......I like to copy and put them in my files only to look at....not to sell...I could not and would not do such.I hope that this is fine for me to put them in my files and albums.

hcvegas, please continue your beautiful work. I thought the email was strange at best. I received other emails about the situation but, they were from people who had actually purchased his work in the past. That seemed to be how they vouched for him.

This whole thing is bugging me, I must admit. I had to come back and ask a question concerning the Ebay guy.

Doesn't EPE have the final say when money is to be made from Elvis or the likeness of Elvis? So technically, this guy shouldn't be selling these images not only based on stealing them but, according to the law?

Thank you for letting us know that. Your work is incredible, and I love using some of your pics in my YT videos, but I would never dream of trying to profit from someone else's work. And, as Diane said, I love putting them in a folder so I can drool over them when the need strikes.

The same thing happened to me also I found one of my modified photos being sold on e-bay by chogenki as being original
I send a message to e-bay to have the photo removed and they replied that they'll check it out Now, i try to put my name on it even though i know it's not going to help they can always remove it

I bought an 8x10 picture from Chogenki about 18 months ago. He claimed it was an "original"...when the pic arrived there was a big black spot on the end of Elvis' nose. I emailed him about it and he quickly sent out another one. Sounds like this guy is up to no good.

Thanks to Lainey, one of the new members of TCB World who sent out emails to other Elvis groups about the ebay pictures of mine. It resulted in Chogenki emailing me with a nice email offering for me to go through his pictures and to remove any that are mine.

The other seller however, collectors52 sent me a very nasty and threatning email, accusing me with harrasing him simply because I told him he was selling a picture of mine. He said he reported me to ebay. Ironically, the picture of mine that collectors52 is selling on ebay, collectors52 said he bought from Chogenki. Anyway, thanks to everbody that chimed in and I hope you continue to enjoy the Elvis pictures I put up only on this excellent site which is my favorite site.
