Never noticed. But I don't think anything was wrong nor does it matter. He did a beyond words wonderful job.
I'm a bit of a dork and I notice things probably most people don't. But in the sit down showns especially the second one I noticed he coughed a couple times and cleared his thoart more than he did any other time. Why?

I think it was because of his nervous on stage and nothing else.![]()
I agree nerves and such, but possibly I know when i sing alot my voice gets and closed up like it needs some fluid or such and he had just finished the one performance and then doing one right after it might have worked out his voice a bit
He had not done a live concert for awhile and his voice was not used to it
And Elvis did his share of coughing in 1969 as well...
I agree....it's very possible that it was because he had only (like thirty minutes before ) did the first 'sit-down' show and his voice was strained.
Elvis had a nervous Habbit of coughing i think.

I agree with you, they were the nerves, for whith it did a wonderful spectacle.
He would also cough when he returned to vegas in 1969. I think it was nerves. He just needed a drink of water. I think his husky voice is is sexy!!
I think this is one we all seem to be agreeing on. Which by the way is nice.
i always thought that it was because his voice was strained from already singin a bunch of songs...it dont matter to me, he looks hot while he's coughing anywayslol
