Security is not the absence of danger but the presence of God no matter what the danger.
Sorry but I must have missed that post. I don't read every single thread or post ever made here. Just the ones to my interest. This is not even my primary forum. I venture to about 3. I've been reading this board for about a year now but I just recently decided to jump into the conversations or discussions.
I met a dog that Elvis once owned. Do that count? I gave him a real good rub too!

Well Diane I am still wondering about that one! Back in 1978 we had a Circus that came to town and one of the main attractions was a little dog that was suppose to have been owned by Elvis. Well the lineup was endless and in behind this curtain was this poor little dog with an Elvis scarf on! Everyone was so happy that it "belonged" to Elvis that no one asked how he got there.

I only wish I had met some people associated with Elvis.
The One and Only King of Rock'n'Roll.
I met alot of them....I only thought to get autographs from Charlie, Vernon and Joe.![]()
I only got to meet them through the years because I used to live there in Memphis. I went to the Elvis Week festivities now and then. I was most impressed with Sam Phillips. Very friendly and charismatic. I was spellbound when I met him. Sonny West was also frinedly. he's changed over the years the most IMO since he got saved. Sam Thompson seemed to be the least impressive.
Me too Shelley! I do have a a CD signed by Lisa Marie! My friend met her when Lisa was in Toronto doing a CD signing. She could not believe how sweet she was. She asked her if she could sign a piece of paper for me and Lisa told her that she had extra CDs with her and she signed one and gave it to her....free. So I tell everyone that Lisa Marie gave me her own CD.![]()
