Ugliest Jumpsuit

I just wanted to get some opinion on your least favorite Elvis jumpsuits. I'm not attaching a poll. because there are too many options, so just post your thoughts.

The V-Neck is my leeast favorite.

Uumph ...... he looked so good in everything, but as far as jumpsuits go, my least favorite is the Gypsy suit (also tied with Chicken Rib Jumpsuit (aka) Black Aztec or Bear Claw (1975-76) which was the same style), something about the way the top is made, the u-shaped neckline, dark colors, just the whole thing has never been my favorite.......this is a good picture of The King, but just don't go for the jumpsuit.......

The gypsy suit and the bearclaw suit are hands down my least favorite suits. Too much circus for my taste. I've heard somebody tell that the suits were wonderful when you saw them live and that may be.
To me, they are just way too much.

no he did not look besutiful in everything.....without a doubt..if a poll was taken the dreaded v-neck thingy is the ugliest ever....the worst creation ever made.....not because of the weight issue..it was plain uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...had elvis used this when he was in top form still same result..uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. .....tragic that elvis had to use this outfit for his largest crowd of his career ever in pontiac dec 31-75..close to 65.000 peeps must of had a good chuckle when they saw the dreaded v neck ....happy new year wwith a clown outfit.. you figure he would wear a specail jumpsuit for that special ocassion at the silverdome..no we get the aslo kinda ugly rainfall jumper ..splits his pants and he goes and change into the dreaded v-neck yo finish the concert eh we will leave it at that..enough said about this laugher of a jumper..2nd ugliest would be the penguin suit worn in vegas 75....but i dont think this was really meant to be used as stage wear....freakin ugly

well elvis was stylish but some of those jumpsuits were just plain wrong here are a few examples the gypsy suit was too much it made him look like a circus clown the penguin well made him look like a penguin not a good look the flame was just to wrong for words as for the aztec suit its like the gypsy suit it screams circus

even the belt was ugly too....obviosly the sleves kill it off completely..there are really no good points to be made about this jumpsuit---or should i say pyjama.

Actually although I find the Gypsy and Bear Claw suits a bit much, I do tend to like them as he really looked happy during that time he wore them...and very mischievous.

The suit I've always really disliked was the Flame suit.

Never really cared for the V-Neck suit w/ puffed sleaves. To me, it looked like he was wearing bed pajamas.

agree.....for aman who was the ultimate dresser..the v neck was the ultimate low..he def should of used it to sleep in

I actually love the "gypsey" and "bear claw" suits (saw them live and they were awesome). My least favorite in that blue rainbow jumspuit. Looks like it was never finished.

The question was "Least Favorite Jumpsuit"....not favorite jumpsuit (and the white flower shirt outfit is just a casual outfit - not a jumpsuit).

Having said that....my least favorite suit would be the V-Neck With Puffy Sleeves and Mexican Sundial suit - especially the Mexican Sundial suit by 1977! It looked ok on him during October of '74 when he first wore it in Lake Tahoe, NV but by 1977 it just made him look larger than he actually was.

Blue Rainbow and the Flame suit would be my choices. The Mad Tiger suit also looks a bit weird to me for some reason... maybe the head of the tiger is somewhat funny... Looks like a kid's pyjama of the Jungle Book.

interesting comments from u....with alll respect ur not really sayng what ur least fav jumpsuit is...u dont hate the sundial jumper....ur saying u hate it because elvis didint look good in it in 77 as he did in 74...ur basing ur choice on elvis weight in the mexican jumpsuit....the topic says whats ur least fav jumpsuit....not based on elvis weight prob...the v neck was just plain ugly..and besides elvis didint look good at all in oct of 74 some of those poses in tahoe in 74 could easily pass for a 77 piccy....elvis was in bad shape in oct 74....neways it ur opinion..just telling you what i think.. for most elvis fans the sundial is an amazing jumpsuit one of his most beautiful

I did not like the V-Neck either.......also The Penguin.There are a few others.....I'll post them when I get the chance.
