No, I didn't see Elvis live in concert, although I felt I was there, somehow ....
I first noticed Elvis when I was around six or seven. I would have loved to have asked my mother if she could take me to see him; however, being from Australia, and for other reasons, I knew it was out of the question, to even ask.
So, I enjoyed him, as I could.

We saw him in at the Oakland Coliseum in 1972 and Tahoe in 1973.

Wow, You guys are so lucky to have seen this man in concert. Knowing you were in the same place he was and just breathing in the same air for a couple of hours must have been just amazing!
been to graceland twice kind of off subject.. but it was 1975 october and we were the only ones out side the gate I was only 15 and vester presley was at the gate and said elvis was sleeping so we couldnt tour the grounds so we asked if we could get some photos and he was so wonderful. He took our camera and took some photos of graceland for us he even closed the gate so I could have my photo taken in front of the gate.What wonderful memories
I have mentioned this in several threads before-(I do not want to bore anyone) but I saw him only once on March 22nd 1976 in St. Louis Mo at Kiel Auditorium. I wanted to see him the first time he came to Kiel (the second stop of his first 1970 tour) on Sept 10 1970, but they sold out in a matter of hours. Then he came on June 28th 1973 and I missed that one also.
I have a friend who saw all 3 shows and she told me the 1970 was the absolute best and most exciting show she had ever seen.
Although I never saw Elvis 'in concert',I did see him quite often.....he was my cousin.
I was lucky enough to see him in the through the sixties. I saw him some,in the fifties,
but I was so young,I don't remember a lot about it.

well its obvious the sept 70 concert was better of thr 3 shows..in 70 elvis was at his best...but at least u saw him lucky u...i have the cassette of the st louis 76 concert.. by the sound of it looks like the crowd liked the show..a pretty good show in st louis in 76.considering elvis was not well

Yes, I was fortunate enough to see Elvis a number of times in concert. I saw him in Philadelphia in 1971, 1974, 1976, and 1977.

i saw elvis in aug 1970 at the international hotel..las vegas.during the filming of thats the way it is.
I Got to see in Vegas 74.
Saw him in 1973 in Long Island (June 23) NY, and the second show in Augusta , Maine May 1977.
