Although Elvis DVD releases rarely come with any extras, the one thing they often do include is the original movie trailer(s)
So, do you enjoy the fact these are included, or are the trailers something you could quite happily do without ?
I invite your comments.

it's cool that they include them. especially when they are of very good quality compared to some of the 'unofficial ones' floating around on the collectors marketand if it's the only extras we get, then what the heck put 'em on

I love 'em ..always brings back fond memories of going to a movie theater and gazing adoringly at the posters that usually were put out 2 months before the actual showing showing and then going to the movie before or even earlier as they usually showed 2 or 3 "trailers"- just to see the trailer I have never understood that word it comes before a movie and yet they call it a "trailer"

It's a thing that I watch once and enjoy. Since they have nothing else to add (or perhaps since they don't want to add anything else), the trailers are a nice bonus.
But I still don't believe that there are no outtakes or bloopers available. A real shame...

I like that they show the trailers & I agree with Albert, there has got to be outtakes!!!!!!!!
With the new MGM batch of DVD's having a small gallery of trailers I found myself developing an appreciation for these little advertisments that at one time would have filled cinema screens of the period.
Many of the mid 60's trailers particularly have a charming retro feel with the colourful graphical overlays and groovy screen transitions, an art form in their own right.
And with the 70's they were no longer trailing (often) lightweight movie vehicles, but instead live concert footage.
The original TTWII trailer from 1970 manages to convey the excitement and dynamism of the performer together with the humour of the man in a neat couple of minutes.
Then with the issue of the TTWII Special Edition a new trailer was crafted that again fulfilled the same remit and at the same time give the whole project a contemporary up to date feel.
Two trailers for the same performances made some 3 decades apart perhaps lay testament to the fact that Elvis is in many respects timeless.
In the 80's with the release of the rocumentary 'This Is Elvis' the 'Elvis trailer' was taken in a different direction again, this time encapsulating both the sadness and the triumphs in its short 2 minute running time, a very emotive and atmospheric montage of film and a very effective trailer.
In effect, the trailers are often a skilled piece of movie making in themselves.

Personally, I think they are very cool to watch!!! I can just imagine sitting in a movie theatre back in the 60's, waiting to see the feature movie when ELVIS suddenly appears on the big screen in the trailer for his upcoming film!!! (h)
I think they are a VERY COOL special feature to the Elvis DVD's, and only wish that all of them would wind up on a DVD someday!!
