Does anyone know why Ronnie Tutt isn't included in the lineup?

"Elvis at The International, a concert celebration" reunites many of those who were on stage with Elvis in Las Vegas at 'The International Hotel' in 1969 for his historical return to live performances.
40 years after Elvis Presley triumphantly returned to the stage at 'The International Hotel' in Las Vegas, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. will reunite many of the original cast for an Elvis Week 2009 concert celebration. Live music along with video and audio will create a magical music experience that will be almost as exciting as being there in the summer of 1969.
Performers currently scheduled to participate include;Joe Guercio, Elvis' orchestra conductor for many of his Vegas performances, The TCB Band members James Burton and Glen D Hardin; Elvis' back up singers The Imperials, including Joe Moscheo, Terry Blackwood, Sherman Andrus and Gus Gaches, The Sweet Inspirations, including Myrna Smith, Estelle Brown, Portia Griffin and Millie Kirkham. Additional vocals will be provided by Terry Mike Jeffrey and Andy Childs. The show will commence at 8pm.
Other artists will be announced as their appearance is confirmed.
"This will be one of the most unique concerts we have produced" said Kevin Kern, EPE spokesman. "We have an entire team researching all the elements that went into producing that show so we can create a completely new experience that takes the audience back in time".
On July 31, 1969, the first of what would become Elvis' Las Vegas career opened to an invitation only, celebrity filled audience. This was only the beginning of what would become a record - breaking run in Las Vegas that shattered all records and created a style of entertainment that is still seen today.

His appearance most likely hasn't been confirmed because he may not be sure of Neil Diamond's schedule for 2009. According to what I read a while back, drummer Paul Leim did a great job filling in for Ronnnie during some of the "Elvis: The Concert" tours when Ronnie couldn't make it so....Paul may replace Ronnie if he (Ronnie) can't make it.
correct me if l'am wrong but isn't ronnie on tour with nail diamond??
You're correct, Ma'am. I looked at Neil's schedule on his website and no dates for August, 2009 have been confirmed as of yet so it may just be that Ronnie hasn't come to a $$$ agreement with EPE in regards to appearing at the "Elvis At The International - A Concert Celebration" production.
I would love to see this but to me it wouldn't be complete without Ronnie.

Let the stars fade and fall, and I won't care at all, as long as I have you.

Wendy,
It will be held during ETW 2009. But it will be commemorating Elvis's 40th anniversary of returning to live performances starting on July 31, 1969.
I wonder if Larry Muhoberac (he was the original keyboardist/pianist for that first month-long engagement in July - August, 1969 until Glen D. Hardin came on board in January of '70? will be there?
Boy, this post could get confusing, couldn't it??![]()
