2001 Theme on Closing Night: From a Different Show?

Has anyone noticed on the Closing Night FTD cd that on the 2001 Theme, during the drum intro that comes right after the horn section's climax, the sound quality seams to change? Is it possible that it (2001 theme) was recorded during the actual midnight show, or another show, or is it just a bad spot in the original tape?

    Any thoughts on this?

They say the frist part of this concert was recorded from the show that very same day.

i think it was the afternoon show, and the rest is the evening show.

but i could be wrong on this.

On various parts during this CD the soundquality (/colour) changes all of a sudden. It seems like they've used small parts of the audience tapes to cover damaged or missing segments.
