hi thanks , buttonhead, the cd label have a marc on the middle, but i put other for you![]()
Hello kucopau,
this is simply fantastic. I like to see Elvis wearing this suit and you made a beautiful cover design with all these imaages.
There's one thing that raises a question. A remark on the back cover says "for the first time on cd - the complete show on cd, soundboard recording ...".
As far as I'm aware of avaailable sb's there was no complete Lakeland show taped. In fact track 12 to 25 are from Lakeland Apr 28th 1975 and have been released on We'll Make You Happy so far.
Looking at the tracklist I assume that your compilation is based on a former CDR release called When It's My Time. This particular compilation contained tracks from three different shows:
From Murfreesboro, TN - May 6th 1975
Track 1. 2001 Theme
Track 2. C, C Rider
Track 3. I Got A Woman/Amen
From Macon, GA - April 24th 1975
Track 4. Dialogue
Track 5. Love Me
Track 6. If You Love Me Let Me Know
Track 7. You Don't Have To Say You Love Me
Track 8. Big Boss Man
Track 9. It's Midnight
Track 10. Fairytale
Track 11. Burning Love
From Lakeland, FL - April 28th 1975
Track 12. When It's My Time (J.D & The Stamps)
Track 13. Burning Love
Track 14. Introductions
Track 15. Band Solos
Track 16. Hail, Hail Rock'n'Roll
Track 17. My Boy
Track 18. Help Me Make It Trough The Night
Track 19. Let Me Be There + reprise
Track 20. An American Trilogy
Track 21. Dialogue
Track 22. Hawaiian Wedding Song
Track 23. Hound Dog
Track 24. Can't Help Falling In Love
Track 25. Exit Theme & Announcements
This would fit with your setlist.
Because of the fact that I'd really use your cover but do not have the entire Lakeland show on soundboard (I guess nobody does), I'd like to ask you to implement a few comments on the cover that help to figure out which song is derived from what show.
Thank you very much,
Taniolo
I ONLY SEE THE COVERS FOR WHEN ITS MY TIME AND IN THERE ON THE BACK SAY'S , SOUNDBOARD RECORDING, APRIL, 28-1975- I HAVE THIS CD AND I GUIDE FOR THIS INFORMATION SO IF YOU ARE SURE THIS CD IS A VARIATY OF THIS 3 SHOWS I AGGREE WITH YOU AND PUT THE INFO ON THE TRACKS SO THE TRACKS ARE THE SAME, AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL-REGARDS DIEGO-![]()
I really like this cover![]()
But I have a question, from what original cd is this the alternate cover????
I mean what is the original cd called that contains the Lakeland show???

(see covers below)
Anyway, track 1 - 3 have been released on FTD's Dixieland Rocks (and a few import releases) and track 4 to 11 can be found on the 2nd cd of From Vegas To Macon and on the 2-cd-set We'll Make You Happy even though.
IMHO the idea to put all these tracks together to make them sound as one concert is a fine idea and deserves for a cover like yours. Thanks again for the work! :worthy:
Nice work on the cover my friend.
I do concur with Taniolo that this show was not a complete soundboard, I believe I actually mentioned that on a discusion about the original cover art in the work in progress section of the messageboard a while ago.![]()
Nice to know where the remaining tracks were taken from on this disc.
