    Famous Loxi Sibley portraits

Can anyone help me here? I have this two canvas oil paintings of Elvis Presley by Loxi Sibley. Her name was on the bottom right and "Boxcar" logo on the bottom left. I cannot find the info. and how much it's worth. I found one of the portraits on Ebay with the letter...I have the portrait (not the letter) and there is another one. I paid $25.oo for it. It is HUGE!! And, it is the original. I saw it on the video "Elvis in Concert" . Anybody????

EBAY is really messing everything up when it comes to getting what the real worth of Elvis stuff goes. I have this hard to find rare, Kissin' Cousins LP mono without the family picture on the cover and someone was selling it for $5.99 I couldn't believe it. So it lowers the value of what you have.

The best way might be to find the sites the sell Elvis items for what it's value and see what they have to offer. I never took the time to look into it. I'm just too busy.
but you do have a rare item, I know what you're talking about.

I found this for LP value they might have a photo section

Hi Sheila, What you have are "poster prints" that sold at Elvis concerts, If yours have the "Boxcar logo" they are just prints and not "original" paintings. Each print was made on canvas paper. you got a good price as they can sell up to $100 in mint condition but are very common on ebay.

I found something on some website that having the "Boxcar" logo is the original because it started from Col. Parker when Elvis was in Vegas. Just like the promos on the lps...they were "Boxcar" logos. The prints later were removed , then, it's the second pressings. Right?

    Hi Sheila,
Anything with the "Boxcar" logo are "original", The only Elvis lp with the "Boxcar" logo was sold in 1974 at the Las Vegas Hilton called "Having fun with Elvis on stage"
RCA did not like the idea of Col Parker selling this album (his own label) and told Parker they were going to sue him for breach of contract! so the crafty Col "sold" the album to RCA!! ...then second pressings were made on the RCA label.

This is my "Boxcar" label I bought at the Hilton.....
