I don't personally believe he had it or he would have been in treatment for it. I don't think even Elvis would have ignored having that taken care of if it were true.

What does eveyone think of the supposed (bone cancer "theory"),bone cancer that Elvis was supposed to be dying or ailing from?
Do you think he really had it?

It's complete rubbish, and it's been perpetuated by the likes of Charlie Hodge (no surprises there) and, sadly, Kathy Westmoreland.
However, I do believe it's more than likely that Elvis may have hinted that he had this or something similar. He tended to exaggerate certain things.

I do not believe Elvis had bone cancer. But knowing how Elvis read medical books he could have imagined he did have it. IMO
Dr. Nick has never said Elvis had bone cancer-he has said Elvis had arthritis in
his neck and spine. Some symptoms for bone cancer and arthritis are similar.
When pain hits from arthritis it can be constant for days or just a few hours but it can be debilatating when it hits. The pain will keep you awake at night and keep you from moving.
Found this info at a medical site:
Bone pain and swelling are usually due to other problems, like an injury or arthritis. Most people with these symptoms do not have cancer. But doctors should test for cancer if signs and symptoms don’t go away and can’t be explained as the symptoms are similar in nature........
The story was spread by Charlie, because somebody in the group talked about intimate stories about elvis to other people. So he wanted to know who that person was and said that he had bone cancer.. Thats the thing really.. So no worries! : )

Wasn't Elvis taking some kind of medication, that was prescribed from cancer patients? I thought I read that in Sonny West's book not to long ago.Of course I could be wrong?
The One and Only King of Rock'n'Roll.
Elvis regularly abused a drug called "Dilaudid". It was only suppsed to be for terminal cancer patients. That's probably the drug that Sonny was referring to.
Elvis did not have cancer. I'm sure it would have shown up at the autopsy had it been proven that he actually had cancer. Kathy Westmoreland, Charlie Hodge, Larry Geller and Dick Grob have all led people to believe that Elvis had cancer - he did not. Besides, people with cancer do not blow up like a ballon like Elvis did. They waste away to nothing - especially with bone cancer.

Tony,I'm not saying that Elvis had cancer but why would he have used the drug Dilaudid then?

i don't think he had it to be totally honest. but only his medical records would know if he had it.

Well there are so many speculations about his health, who knows for sure.
Maybe there was bone-cancer, maybe there was leukaemia (according to Larry Geller).
When people say he took his medications for these then, also according to Geller and West, Schilling, ..., there must have been cancer/sickness for such a long time.

I really don't know about the whoole bone cancer thing, but you never know l suppose.
Surely if cancer had been present in Elvis's body at the time of his death it would have been an irresistible feature to include in the original autopsy report, which went out of its way to present a less-scandalous natural cause verdict (heart attack) despite the fatal drugs in his system. You would think that evidence of cancer (a very 'visible' disease in an autopsy) would have been too much of a gift to their simplistic cover-up to be omitted.
