Do Lisa Marie's children know of Elvis' legacy??

I've always wondered if Lisa Marie's children are aware of the legacy that their grandfather has left in the wake of his life and untimely death. Obviously, they know their grandmother and mother are in the public eye, but I have to wonder if her children are truly aware of Elvis' legacy of his music, but also of his cultural significance that is a true test of his importance today.

If they are aware of this legacy that their grandfather left, it must be strange to see his image everywhere and read about his life today and know that they are a part of it all.

I truly wonder if they really understand his legacy. Its easy to look a picture and say "This was your grandfather and he was a musician and recorded a few songs." But its something else to wrap your mind around what ELVIS accomplished in his short life, the enormous legacy he left behind, his massive accomplishments, his larger-than-life status, his very complex IMAGE.

I'm not sure..they probably are aware of it,but they dont look at it that way..to them he's just there grandfather I think..I mean ,i'am sure Lisa's told them, but I'm not sure if they want to look at it that way.Like Lisa said, she hasn't forced that on them...

Well Lisa told a story once or twice, about how when she was a Young Girl she Teased Elvis once or twice by mimicking the fans and calling him laughing and "Elvis, Elvis" and he thought it was cute but made sure to tell her he was Daddy, not Elvis. So I'm sure they've seen the Mania around the anniversaries . They have to have seen some of the films etc, I'm sure they know he was one of the most important pop culture figures of his time. It would have been almost impossible to completely shield them from who he was.

I don't how Lisa's children could miss anything of the legacy of Elvis being that it's been in the media everywhere from the day he reached his fame. The only thing they would be privy to is the personal side of Elvis that they learned from their mother.

This may sound mean but, from what I've read, they are aware of Elvis's accomlishments and who Elvis was but to them he's just "Grandpa".

I don't think it sounds mean at all. To me it just means that Lisa has made them focus on Elvis the person rather than the image and that's how it should be.

I'm glad she wants them to know Elvis the man as their grandpa rather than the image...
