Elvis spent more time with RCA,but a lot of his greatest hits were made on Sun Records.

How can you compare a couple of years on Sun to to all those RCA years. The bulk of Elvis' most well known are on RCA obviously. However the Sun recordings are a pivotal time in music history. He would never make such important recordings again. He created something very different in those two years with Sun.They are timeless.

Sun Sessions, had it not been for them then there would have not been no RCA stuff.

I have voted RCA,was great more ripe, but itīs not necessary to forget that any of his sucesses went out of the SUN RECORDS with a lot of force, which nowadays is his stamp.

THe songs he made their are what changed the face of music imo!

As has already been commented, it is impossible to compare the two!

The Sun material captures a raw sound that could only have been made in Memphis. As for RCA this is the main body of material Elvis made in his professional career, very different to that of the Sun records as all the rough edges have been smoothed off and a completely different feel and sound IMO.
