have to agree franny
Its impossible for elvis to be hidden for 31 years and nobody seeing him for pete sake. I'am sorry but Lisa face is so sad when she talks about her father and Lisa isn't no actor but a straight up lady. Vernon well he wouldn't of took it so bad if his son was alive and living![]()

Not to sound mean or anything but, it is this kind of stuff that give Elvis fans a bad name. Just my two cents.
Say what you want but this is getting really interesting. Usually these "Elvis is alive" stories are tabloid material but this isn't from a tabloid and is now making world news. Here's the latest.

DNA lab owner: Elvis is not dead
Supports woman's claim to be Presley's half-sister
By Lawrence Buser (Contact), Memphis Commercial Appeal
Saturday, October 11, 2008
The head of an Arizona DNA lab who supports a woman's claim that she's the daughter of Vernon Presley said Friday there's something even more interesting about the case.
Elvis is alive.
"I think the DNA taken from the person named Jessie can only be DNA of Elvis Presley," said Donald Yates of DNA Consultants in Scottsdale. "It's from a live person because the DNA is recent. There are a lot of Elvis impersonators, but I don't think you can imitate DNA. It's hard to get your mind around this story."

Eliza Presley, a 46-year-old Washington state woman who recently changed her name from Alice Elizabeth Tiffin, said in Probate Court this week that she based her Presley kinship claim in part on a DNA sample sent to her from a Jessie Presley.
When asked by attorney William Bradley Jr. if Jessie believes he is Elvis Presley, Eliza replied, "No, actually (he is) Elvis Presley."
She did not elaborate and could not be reached Friday.
Judge Karen Webster reopened Vernon Presley's estate Wednesday at the request of Eliza's attorney, but made no other finding and did not set another court date.
Bradley, however, repeated his assertion that the case has no merit.
"After hearing her testimony in court, I'm not at all surprised about her most recent revelations," said Bradley, who represents Elvis Presley Enterprises and Lisa Marie Presley Lockwood. "Many individuals who claim to be related to Elvis Presley have vivid imaginations."
Eliza Presley's mother, former Memphian Florence Sharp Clark of Oregon, said she was part of the Elvis social circle for a period, but that she had no child by him or his father.
Elvis, who is commonly believed to have died in 1977, would be 73 today.
Yates, who has a doctoral degree in history but none in science, said he concluded Eliza is the daughter of Elvis' father, Vernon Presley, and that Jessie is actually Elvis by comparing his DNA with a Presley cousin, a cousin from Elvis' mother's side, Eliza's and several control samples.
He said neither he nor Eliza has met the man they believe to be Elvis, but that Eliza has talked to him and that he lives at an undisclosed location in the United States.
"I'm an historian and I've never known of a story of a famous person dying and then of rumors being sustained for 25 years that he's still alive," said Yates, who said he also is a former public relations man for Alka Seltzer. "Not throughout human history has a situation like that existed. Jesus Christ died, but he came back pretty quickly."

Here is a bit of information on the accuracies of sibling DNA testing. Also involving a cousin means nothing because the accuracies, are really narrowed, but ya know, I'll give that on a check via phone call. Also lets note that Yates is a historian, not a doc. of science much less DNA science.

Well, it is very interesting.
But how can a DNA sample prove that elvis is still alive ?
And can you imagine him alive and never noticed or recognized by the millions of fans all over the world ?
If there's one man that can not live incognito in this world, that's elvis.
I thought about this. But I don't for the life of me seeing Elvis throw it all away to hide in seclusion. I'm sure he felt like he wished he could've lived a normal life, but Elvis had to be the center of attention with everything, and I just can't see him doing that...

Agreed. Besides, and it's been said over and over and over that Elvis would've never stooped so low as to put his family (especially Lisa) through the hurt and pain of having them think he faked his death.
If he was alive, do we really think that Lisa would be so emotional when discussing his death??? She was there on August 16, 1977 and she saw what happened.
As was said earlier, you can't fake that kind of emotion.

Oh please. Her marrying Jackson was nothing but a ploy to save his image and career. That's all. She was never in love with him and he's never loved a woman to have been in love with her. Itw as about a friend stepping in to help a friend out. Notice how they divorced only a few months later once he was cleared of all charges.![]()
Anyone can fake emotion. Ever heard of acting? If the DNA is really Elvis' then something's fishy with what all went on on 8-16-77 and that means everyone from Joe to Nancy to Lisa have lied publicly to cover it up. Unless he took a drug that knocked him out to where he wasn't breathing and was taken to a secret location to recooperate and then left the country to keep certain oens form knowing. I'm sure Lisa would know by now though. Not saying that's what happened but anything's possible.
Something else to think about. If they can do a DNA test on a 2,000 year old mummy to identify it then surley they can do it on a man who's only been dead for 31 years.

Not necessarily-posted this on the other thread but it applies here also.
First off DNA just recently taken of Elvis Aron Presley-would have to be proved that it was just recently taken. If anyone has a strand of his hair-that contains DNA-if they have a cup "he drank from"-even from 1970 it may have his DNA signature on the cup. A scarf "he wore and sweated on"-may have his DNA on it. An "envelope licked by Elvis" may have DNA-but it does not prove its recent DNA.So proving that a sample was just recently taken is going to be much harder than just saying it was recent.
I would assume the courts would say, "Wait a minute!-Whats the chain of this evidence and wheres the legal proof that it is indeed recent"
I know everyone recalls the shrink a few years ago who was "treating Elvis"
and claimed it was 100% certain it was Elvis. He said proof would be forth coming and it was indeed a sham"
I listened to this guy being interviewed on local radio and the DJs had a suprise for him Marion Cocke Elvis's nurse who was there when they worked on Elvis on 8-16-77 she was mad and crying after listening to this shrinks story of being 100% sure Elvis was alive. She asked him if he had any idea how wrong it was to give fans such false hope. The guy got mad claimed he was set up (which was true) and he hung up.
